Carine Mardorossian

Professor Mardorossian is Associate Professor of English at the University at Buffalo, NY where she specializes in postcolonial, Caribbean, and feminist studies. She is currently completing a manuscript entitled /Framing the Victim: Masculinity and National Identity in the Contemporary United States/, a cultural studies examination of the concept of victimization that uses Caribbean literature as a test case for its argument. Her first book was entitled /Reclaiming Difference: Caribbean Women Rewrite Postcolonialism/ (2005). Her articles on Caribbean literature have appeared in journals such as /Callaloo, Small Axe, The Journal of Caribbean Literatures, Modern Language Studies/, and /College Literature/.
